Ezecom
is being recognized regionally for its efforts in building digital and personal
capacities in their recent business transformation journey, from pure internet
connectivity to digital services provider with best-in-class cloud services,
solutions spanning compute, storage, database, security, management, and
networking to Cambodian companies, from SMEs to enterprises.
The
country’s premium internet service provider, Ezecom, has been awarded the
prestigious ASEAN Business Award (ABA) in the category of “Skill
Development in Technology and Telecom” at an ASEAN Business and Investment Summit
(ABIS) Gala Dinner presided over by Cambodia’s Minister of Commerce and Chair
of ASEAN Economic Ministers His Excellency Pan Sorasak. Neak Oknha Kith Meng,
Chairman of Royal Group and chairman of ASEAN Business Advisory Council was
also present at the event.
According
to ABA 2022 organizers, Ezecom won the award because of the company’s
contribution to the development of the country and Cambodian people as well as
building the professional technical and vocational skills of the ASEAN
workforce.
Accepting
the award Ezecom CEO, Ms. Yuni Lee Heathcote congratulates other ASEAN
recipients in different industries. She said: “This is the pinnacle of Ezecom
aspiration in building digital and personal capacity. Our work is not done yet.
We still have lots more programs to implement and this award truly motivates
the entire team, to achieve greater heights, both for the community and the
Kingdom.”
There
is strategic focus and planning on relevant trainings and certifications needed
to support Ezecom’s technology and technical advancement. Collaborations with
external partners, educational institutions, agencies and ministries are
important pillars to ensure relevance and agility. Such programs raise the
overall employees’ motivation, as they acquire greater knowledge and skills for
their personal developments. Ezecom believes this will in turn, translate to
happy workplace and efficient customer service quality and experience.
In
realizing the digitalization transformation, Ezecom is committed to continue to

The
ABA 2022 recognizes outstanding and successful ASEAN companies contributing to
ASEAN’s overall economic growth and prosperity. All companies within the ASEAN
community who meet the requirements are eligible to submit their applications
and were the final winner is decided by the panel judges.
The
ABA Skills Development Award recognizes a company’s contribution to building
the professional technical and vocational skills of the ASEAN workforce. The
award also takes into account the react that meeting ASEAN’s skills
requirements today – and tomorrow – requires cooperation between business
enterprises and training systems.
